The building of the house-palace of Ciguiñuelas started in 1934, at the request of the Marquis of Orellana, who was the owner at that time. The estate was restored in 1951 and several renovations and improvements have been carried out at different times since then. The last one was in 2012, when satellite internet connection was installed.
