The estate’s gardens with box hedges and rose gardens, honour courtyard, orangery, ponds, rivers and vineyard can only be visited during philanthropic events organised by the family every 2-3 years.

 

Visit the church of St. Barthelemy in the village of Bousval, with origins dating back to the 12th century and take a look at the contemporary stained glasswork, and exquisite wood carvings. The lovely Chapel Try-au-Chêne dates back to 1608 from the era in which the Eighty Years’ War marked a deciding period in Belgian and Dutch history.
